@ Jetrc2008 yes, Queen Victoria actually recently had a problem with the norovirus and all its passengers were not allowed to disembark. the whole ship had to be disinfected. and we know how Cunard, very tense and not the typical cruise line. that just goes to show that no matter the cruise line can break a pass to anyone. = /
@ Gebral2007′ve been on a cruise Royal Caribbean and NCL cruises in March and I must say, Royal Caribbean staff not chase us around with disinfectant! ALWAYS ships staff kept absolutely clean, I have to say that’s all I ever saw was clean. my mom has been the NCL cruise in June and never had any problems. that was all their fault is not very fair, it’s bad luck. Norovirus is as catchy as a cold. Sorry you missed in the ports of call. : (
Oh, my God, I wish I were in that audience! I’ve been on four cruises and three have been with NCL. I’m the Latitudes proud member would not have it any other way!
Well, in aspects of keeping the ship clean. . . I’ve never seen a cleaning company of their vessels, and chase you around with hand sanitizer as they do.
In addition, NCL has been doing its best to prevent this. No fault of NCL, is that of passengers who bring disease with them. NCL has been providing sanitation services and proper procedures.
Norovirus is not, nor walk virus. And cruise lines address this problem, such as RCI, Celebrity, Princess, HAL etc Norovirus is everywhere, and can not be easily prevented. I think you’re in the Norwegian Jade, which has had problems lately with the Norovirus.
On 29 Jan foot office in Izmir to the ship and felt terrible again sent the waiter said to call the doc. No one had come to me, I went for Imodium in the hospital told me that an outbreak of foot-Virus Nor was I quarantined. You missed the important ports of call. I was told by staff after the event that the ship had two outbreaks of travel before and the ship should have been cleaned. I would never recommend NCL and I am a travel consultant. They do not respond to complaints.
Awesome! As a travel agent and NCL Freestyle Agenct a certificate attesting to my doctorate, I would say that NCL is the best line out there with huge, huge choices for all types of travelers! Congratulations to Ellen public on this amazing gift of a cruise line world class!
