NCL vs Royal Caribbean Cruise
Royal Caribbean Cruise came into action in 1968 but its services started two years later when it put its first ship named “Song of Norway” into service. With the passage of time, the company introduced few other cruises which remained highly successful. In 1999, the company brought in the biggest cruise of the world named “Voyager of the Seas”. Some of the features included in these Caribbean ships are as follow:
- A lounge at the top of ship known as “Viking Crown Lounge” which offers the facilities like gym, ocean view, dining, lounges and the like.
- Adventure Ocean:
This feature is specifically for the kids and teenagers and involves entertainment activities, theatre, youth programs and the similar.
3. Dining:
At Royal Caribbean Cruise, a variety of options are available which meets the needs of every kind of family – small or large. There are spacious accommodations, furnished rooms and clean balcony which make the trip of passenger exciting and memorable.
Beside this, tons of other facilities are available for the passengers including yoga, casino, pool games, bingo, Wi-Fi service, computer facilities, ocean view, tournaments, and many more. In addition, you can nearly visit every port and landscapes of Mexico, Europe, Caribbean, New Zealand, Asia, South America, Australia, and Hawaii. And that’s not all; you are free to do everything from rock climbing to web surfing!
We would also like to share with you the experiences of other people they have had availing the service…
- One passenger said that though the food was good but it was not available all the time. He added saying that the service was bit contrasting because it was not freestyle as such. However, he was pleased with other services including balcony view, entertainment facilities, and piano bar.
- Another passenger was found saying that they had fun but he think that the Royal Caribbean staff needs to improve their service. He appreciated the tools for kid’s activities and declared that it was overall a good trip.
- We found many passengers happy regarding the environment of the ship. However, some of them were very displeased with the food service. At an occasion, a passenger said that he had to wait for quite too long for getting the food. The same passenger said that the quality of food, however, was up to the par and at any moment he was not provided with spoiled food.
- In some cases, the visitor complained that the drinks were far too expensive. One customer said that the food was not as good as he was expecting it would be.
- A pleased customer said that he is particularly impressed by the neatness of the cruise. The environment was fantastic and the ocean sight was awesome. Another happy passenger said that the staff changes sheets and towels regularly which is quite impressive.
- One passenger, comparing the Royal Caribbean with Norwegian Cruise, said that he prefer Royal Caribbean over the Norwegian cruise because of the dining facilities and long stays at the shores.
- Another passenger, though happy, was found complaining that the entertainment activities were expensive and also were not up to the par. The same passenger, however, commended the spacious rooms and the large toilets in the cruise.
- One customer was of the opinion that the dining arrangement was not proper. He had to wait too long to get to the food. But he said that the other facilities provided by the management were up to the standard and he especially liked playing golf at the beach.
Overall the number of happy passengers was far greater than those who disliked the service. The only reason Norwegian Cruise Line dominates the world is its freestyle cruising — which means the freedom to do anything!
